Some Thoughts on Money PDF Print E-mail

I was up this morning doing nothing but thinking about what to do with my money(invest, save, spend, where to invest) and I figured I will come ramble a bit.

In growing up I have been told many times that I am addicted or obsessed with making money but is that a bad thing? In many situations I have felt like an outcast because many of the people around me didn't share the same views and goal about money. I want to be wealthy, plain and simple(some people call it rich). Many of my friends say things like,"I don’t want to be rich", or "I just want to be comfortable" or even make a bold and ridiculous statement like, "more money more problems" of which there was a song made. First on the not wanting to be rich piece; I just think most people are not willing to do what it takes to be 'rich', some of these people really do not know what it is to be poor, but I blame no one, it’s an opinion. On the more money more problems piece, I personally think that we all have problems, and I do not think it is more or less, but I personally prefer the problems of managing money, creating wealth and protecting assets than searching for money to pay my bills, but then again, thats just me.

I know that a small writing like this will spawn comments like, "money is the route of all evil" so let me comment on that now, rad your bible more closely.

Anyway, that’s my little piece for the day. Hope some of you guys reading this were in my same situation.

Well a lot of people tend to use that verse out of context. People say it as posted"Money is the root of all evil" But the text actually reads "For the LOVE of money if the root of all evil". Nothing is wrong with making money and Lots of it, but if a person's only purpose in Life is to make TONS of money and put aside Family, Love, Relationships, Life and God. Then nothing but evil will come. They will step on anyone , kill anyone, hurt anyone. Just to have another dollar.

I don't think anything is wrong for wanting to be rich. I know my aim it to be as rich as I can be so my children and there children and so on will be able to live "RICH", However I won't be the one to make it alone. I teach my kids what I know. I get them involve din my skill, One draws, One enjoys decorating, One is into Video Games, so I put DESIGN into their minds on a daily...So you go and Make that money, but Make it with a purpose. Not just to "Bling Bling" in the ey...

Nice that you caught the lack of the word "love" in the text. When I was editing and approving the writing (As i do all submitted work) I saw it and liked the fact that it wasn't clarified.

avatar I think there needs to be a balance between the two ideologies. There will always be people who don't care for money at all, and are quite comfortable living for each day as it comes, which almost always has an impact on their family life, as a financial foundation isn't put in place for the next generation. Then there will always be people who hoard money and live an existence that is totally abstract from humanity. So my aim is to find the balance between the two extremes, because it's undenyable that money is needed, but at the expense of my soul? Nah, not worth it...

I have pretty good idea why your friends would say that they don't want to be rich. I was in that same situation. It is all the preconception that people in the past taught them about. You know at that time rich people mistreated the poor, look down to them instead of giving a hand. So it became like rich people are selfish, bad, arrogant
and all the bad names.well next time someone tell you being rich is bad tell them."love makes the world goes around but money pays for the trip. And "If you really want to help the poor, you cannot be one of them" Assist your friends on reading powerfull book like "Rich Dad Poor dad by Robert kiyasoki and Think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill. Check out my website www.investorsolutions.com/stephania-investor. I have personal development coach who comes to teach my team for free once every 2 months. Invite your friends if you are in the south florida area, next one will be in ft lauderdale next saturday. "on my website you can leave m...

the problem alot of times is that money changes ppl. once you start compromising a little bit for more, quick sand effect may take place. this may be a fear of some. but in the most clear eg. celebrities many do change alot esp for the negative (j.lo lol), and many remain the same and exercising their ability and genuine desire to give back to the poor

when i say remain "the same" i am focusing on those who have a genuine good heart and was not previously committed to the union of $$$
